You have left. I watched from the front window as you put your things into the car. You were wearing the blue coat, the one I have slept on many times and which still smells faintly of me no matter how often you run it through the loud machine in the basement. I take some comfort in that. Wherever you are going, a part of me is going with you, whether you know it or not.
